Elves have started teasing their latest aero frame on social media. It’s called Falath EXP, and it’s… weird. At first glance, it looks like a very fast bike. Notice the wide tubes and the cutouts for wheels in the down tube and seat tube. The most unusual feature is how the seat post connects to the frame, resembling a blend of the recently introduced Colnago Y1RS and Trek Madone.
I understand the need to stand out and create a uniquely designed bike. We first saw it with Trek Madone (IsoFlow), then with SEKA Spear (WindEye), and then Colnago Y1RS. However, I find this frame quite odd in pictures. I’m curious how it’s going to look in person.

From the information released so far, the Falath EXP is expected to hit the market in March 2025. The letters in its name stand for E – Elite, X – Extreme, P – Performance—essentially just marketing buzzwords. No aero data has been published yet, just bold claims that this bike pushes aerodynamics to the next level. This is something that Chinese bike brands still struggle with. They often publish bold claims but fail to deliver objective data (honoring the exceptions).
The price for the Malaysian market is set at 5,445 RM (1219 USD) for the frameset, including handlebars. I expect a higher price in the US and Europe. Still, the price seems relatively reasonable compared to other popular Chinese road frames.
As usual with Elves, the frame will come in multiple sizes (44–61), making it suitable for riders between 145 cm and 200 cm. A special women’s edition (145–155 cm) will also be available. I’m genuinely curious to see how these smaller sizes will look. The tire clearance should be 32mm.
The Falath EXP is compatible only with disc brakes but can be equipped with either mechanical or electronic shifting. It meets the EN14766 and ISO 4210:2014 safety standards and comes with a five-year warranty.
